Who we are
About Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation
The Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is supported by over 80+ members and volunteers within the Chateau Elan Community. In 2018, a group of neighbors saw a need and created the Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation (CEMSF) to organize and fund aid supporting military veterans and their families in North Georgia. Since 2019, CEMSF has raised over $400,000 and has served the local military community by providing financial support, basic needs, housing assistance and mental health support. CEMSF is a volunteer-run organization with no paid full-time staff, maximizing the amount spent to support veterans.

Our Mission
Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation was established to assist local veterans and their families in the North Georgia area by functioning as a hub for community resources and providing direct support for basic needs. Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation focuses on assisting veterans in Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall, and Jackson Counties.

Our History
In early 2018, Tom Reichart & Jeff and Rene Oldham saw an opportunity to help veterans in their local area. Tom, Jeff, and Rene live in Chateau Elan, a neighborhood in North Georgia. They planned a brainstorming meeting, and 20-25 interested Chateau Elan neighbors attended that first meeting. After only months, a Board of Directors was formed, and our 501(c)(3) status was approved. Activity on outreach and fundraisers began immediately and continues to this day! Since 2019, CEMSF has raised over $400,000 to assist North Georgia veterans. CEMSF is now supported by over 80 members and our sponsors.
